Collapse during demolition
KCE was hired to investigate the unplanned partial collapse that occurred on January 12, 2018 during the demolition of the Apex building.
The purpose of our investigation will be to determine the cause or causes of the collapse and to report on any problems and to recommend remedial action as appropriate. This included advising WMATA on any damage or potential damage to the Metro below.
Our inspectors were on site during all further demolition activities.
